Homework this week consists of:
Maths - rounding numbers to nearest 10,000.
Please see the attached document. Answers have been provided and we would appreciate it if parents/carers could check children's answers with them. If your child is struggling please kindly send an email marked for the attention of Mrs Rennison via the school office so that extra help can be arranged at my weekly maths clinic. If you child is getting the majority of the answers correct then we do not necessarily need to see the completed work.
English - this week is work on synonyms and antonyms. We have covered this in school this week.
Again I have attached an answer sheet but I am very happy to look at this work. There are two options for this: The work can either by emailed to me via the school office or can be posted on the class blog on the school website.
With regards spellings we have still to complete our assessments so more advice regards this will follow shortly.
Children should also be reading on a regular basis. By Monday 14/9/20 I would like children to have read up to chapter 5 or Boy in the Tower. I know a number of children have read past this and I am very happy for them to read on through the book.
