Maths homework this week gives the children more practice at multiplication. I have attached 3 different sets of questions. I would suggest that those children who are less confident with multiplication attempt the two 4-digit by 2-digit sheets whereas those who are more confident complete one of the 4-digit by 2 digit and then attempt the 4-digit by 3-digit questions.

In literacy we have recently looked at sentence types and I would like the children to work on creating silly sentences. The sentence they write need to be complex sentences and they should include a surbordinate clause and a surbordinating conjunction e.g ISAWAWABUB - if, since, as, when, although, while, after, before, until, because.
Please see the attached document giving them the nouns, adjectives etc that they need to build their sentences around. The sentences can be as silly as they wish but must be complex.
