Q. Where can I find term dates?

A. You will find information about our admissions policy, in year admissions, how to apply and also further information about admissions through Suffolk County Council by clicking below. 

Q. What time does the school day start/end? 

A. Knowing the times of our school day is important. By clicking here you will find out about lesson times and also breaks too. 

Q. How do I request an absence for my child/ren? 

A. There may be circumstances where leave is necessary for your child. . Exceptional Leave of Absence request forms can be collected from the School Office. You’ll find further information about this on Attendance FAQs page by clicking here

Q. How do I pay for school dinners? 

A. Payments online can be made by clicking here and following the relevant links. Please speak to a member of our Admin. Team if you have any difficulties, they would be more than happy to help.

Q. How does Holbrook’s performance compare to schools within the Local Authority/nationally? 

A. Click here and you will be able to compare schools in any local authority. Information is gathered based on end of Key Stage 2 results.

Q. How can I support my child at home? Where can I find my child’s class page? 

A. Each class has an individualised class page which outlines curriculum coverage and also has lots of effective ways of supporting your child. The Curriculum Overviews will always provide a section which explains how you could directly help at home.

Q. Can I find copies of letters on the website? 

A. Scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page and you will find a link which says ‘Latest Letters’. These can be downloaded and printed if necessary. Paper copies will be sent home in the first instance by the Class Teacher.


Q. I’ve hunted through the website, but I can’t find what I’m looking for! 

.A. Please speak to the School Office, someone will be happy to assist.
