Key Information - Admissions Application

The Local Authority are currently the admissions authority. Full details are contained in the ‘Schools In Suffolk’ booklet available online:

Starting School in Foundation

All children age 4+ will start school in September.  All applications need to be made with the LA.  We arrange a series of twilight tours in the Autumn Term for parents and children to see our fantastic school.  Please contact the School Office for further information.  On receipt of a place, we will arrange a series of opportunities for parents and pupils to meet our staff prior to staring in September.

Foundation pupils are dropped off via our one way system between 8.45 and 8.55 where they will be met by their teacher at their classroom door.  School finishes at 3.25.

Uniform is worn other than on PE days when they come in their PE kits.  They will also have the opportunity to experience our wonderful Forest School one afternoon a week.

All payments to School are made via School Money,  Lunches, clubs and trips are also booked through this system.  At the beginning of September a welcome invitation will be sent out via email to access this.

We are a nut free healthy school.  In Foundation children are entitled to Universal Free Schools meals which are freshly prepared daily on our premises.  They also receive milk and a piece of fruit/vegetable as a snack. We request that no sugary snacks are brought into school.  We encourage children to bring a water bottle which they have free access to throughout the day and can be refilled at our water fountains when required.

Mid-year Admissions

If you would like to discuss a mid-year transfer, please contact the School Office to arrange a visit or telephone call with the Head of School.  All applications are made via the LA and are dependent on spaces available.
