Pupil voice is an extremely important element of school-life. Pupils are encouraged to take on responsibilities and develop leadership from an early age. Our School Council, with representatives from each class, is involved in decision making. Various other important roles are offered to pupils e.g Eco Councillors, Library Monitors and Junior Road Safety Officers. 

We recognise the importance of our place in the community and work closely with local organisations such as Suffolk Food Hall, St Marys Carehome and East Anglia Children's Hospice and this collaborative work is carefully woven into our curriculum. 

Our bespoke River of Knowledge Curriculum (ROK) is carefully sequenced so that children know more and remember more by building upon prior learning. Our Holbrook Halyards (School Environment, Pupil Voice and School of Literature) recognise features of our school of which we are most proud of.

At Holbrook we work to provide a safe and secure environment for the pupils. The indoor and outdoor facilities and resources are maintained to a high standard and technology is up to date to ensure our pupils have the best possible start to their academic life.
