Our Junior Playleaders are appointed and trained by the PE Lead at the start of each term.

With oversight by lunchtime staff, these Year 5 and 6 children support younger pupils to join in with structured activities such as: giant jenga, quoits, giant chess, target throw, obstacle courses, table tennis and parachute games. So that our playleaders don't miss out on too many of their own breaktimes, a number of them are placed on a weekly rota.

We also have Junior Playleaders who run very popular dance, painting, drawing and cheerleading clubs. And our Holbrook crochet club members can often be found helping younger pupils learn this useful skill.
